Description

Non-inductive wire wound resistor has no inductance value. Wirewound resistor without inductance is made using 2 winding around a non-conductive core, but the direction of the turns of both coils is opposite to each other. Non-Inductive Wire Wound Resistors

A non-inductive resistor is wound one way then again in the other direction, as shown below. This will cancel out the magnetic fields generated by each of the wires. Most resistors are created in this same manner but with different materials.
